Nothing special about the all blacks if you aint a kiwi, we all want the best players and the most success for our respective teams.I can't think of another international sports team that has been as successful for such a long period of time, to still have a 100% record against some top 10 teams in the world |

| 1286723 | 2012-07-08 11:26:00 | Which bit don't you understand?? 1. That the all blacks is a team made up of non nz ers? Whether by birth or heritage. Who's to say I haven't been over here longer than some of your players? 2. That sbw is a quality player and quite clearly contributed significantly to nz winning the rwc. 3. Its a lost opportunity in many ways that he will no longer play for you |

Still not a bad team between world cups |

| 1286726 | 2012-07-08 11:40:00 | Which bit don't you understand?? The point is that many people viewed SBW joining the All Blacks with trepidation, There concerns have been proven worthy, and I hope they don't cheapen the jersey next time he comes seeking to be in the "team" for a world cup (hence the hired gun reference). At the very least he didn't play poorly during the world cup but neither did he do anything to prove himself worthy of the special treatment that was afforded him, Rather it has been this year that he has shown some top level rugby playing ability, and what do you know, He's off again. The team won the world cup, Of which he certainly played a part, But only a small part. |

| 1286729 | 2012-07-08 19:36:00 | NZ doesn't care about his talent leaving the team, NZ cares because everyone bends over for him and he leaves without so much as a thank you ma'am. We value that jersey and attribute a huge amount of respect to those whose hard work earns them the privilege to wear it on the field. But being a pom you can't be expected to have any insight on the matter. You seem not to have noticed the sport went professional - someone simply made him a better deal, apparently they value their jersey more. You want to criticise him leaving and yet criticise his performance while he was here, he made the right decsion if you are a typical suppporter. |

Rugby has no other competitions between World Cups that are worth watching, maybe a Lions tour here every twelve years but that's about it. Watching games against Australia and South Africa year after year must dull the senses of even the most ardent supporter, hence they focus in on SBW and what he night and night not be doing. | Twelvevolts (5457) | ||

Exactly, perhaps the 4 nations shouldn't be every year? Bring bit more interest to the games when they do happen? |
