Is there a problem using this person's phone as a hotspot?

1310549 2012-11-05 22:48:00 Or one of those netcomm 3g wireless hotspots? nedkelly (9059)

1310551 2012-11-05 23:01:00 Got a Huawei one now but like many of those wireless hot spots, limited number of users can connect. That's the main problem we have now.

"Is there a problem using this person's phone as a hotspot? " (thought I'd posted a response to this already). User is not tech savvy. Do not want her with 25 people waiting to start a course, and she can't get tethering working. Need as simple as possible.

1310552 2012-11-05 23:31:00 It's not rocket science. She hits the button to turn it on and it just works. It's kind of an "All or nothing" solution, it's gonna work or it won't. Chilling_Silence (9)

1310555 2012-11-06 21:12:00 Found one-www.netgear.co.nz
But after ages on the phone to Netgear they can't tell me where to get one in NZ, or the RRP. Tried JBs this model doesn't even exist in their system but it does appear on the netgear.co.nz website.
Will keep hunting, but sounds perfect for what my client needs...

1310556 2012-11-06 21:23:00 The DSL-N12U B1 supports a 3G dongle. I think you plug it into the USB port. Wouldnt have a clue how many wireless connections, it can take tho Speedy Gonzales (78)
