1285995	2012-07-05 05:17:00	The video I watched really surprised me as I would guess about 90% of these pedophiles were white middle aged males. If I think about the NZ situation of the guys that get caught with watching or distributing child pornography I can only ever recall them being white males. I can understand, but not condone, stealing and violence as they are a want of possession and the other a reaction to emotions which we all have. But what I don't get is what is it about white middle class males that make them a profile that wants to do these things to children. If you had said black males were the predominate pedos you would get your ass banned quick smart. But because you said its White and male you are safe as houses, right as rain, no problemo. But this is still incorrect as per previous post. Its the reporting not who is doing it that is the main factor.	prefect (6291)

1286000	2012-07-05 09:03:00	This is a myth as the actual crime stats don't support the statement - search the net because there are plenty of sites that bust the myth. Reporting bias certainly is a factor in crime, as is the likelihood of police action once a crime is reported which differs by race, socio economic status is also a factor. Don't know of any evidence that says that the particular set of genes you get for a particular race, means you're more likely to commit a particular type of crime. Such a gene could potentially exist I guess, but nurture is more likely to be a more powerful factor than nature. One site suggests the highest incidence is in American Indians - most likely because of the complete break down of the family structure in their society.	Twelvevolts (5457)

1286002	2012-07-06 21:32:00	Whitie is more likely to report these offences. Cuzzies are more likely to 'remedy' the offending with 'family justice'. ie give the bugger the bash. Quicker, cheaper and probably more effective than the honkie way of dribbling the whole affair through the courts a couple of years after the offending was discovered. What is likely to be most effective? Being 'outed' and shamed among family and friends, or being 'outed' and shamed in front of a court of strangers who will always be strangers. There's a lot to be said for the informal 'family court'. Costs nothing, and gets the job done immediately.	Paul.Cov (425)
