| 72187 | 2002-08-20 05:57:00 | I use a Philips 17" LCD monitor and it has been one of the best purchases I have made. Using my computer is much more of a pleasure. I also use another computer with a 19" monitor - of the two the 17" LCD is far better. I have watched a number of DVDs on this screen and they are fine. The colours, the contrast and the overall clarity are far superior in my opinion. |

| 72190 | 2002-08-20 23:22:00 | I have had this monitor for about 9 months now and the price was $1600. The model is a 170B2. I think the price was quite good as I have seen other 17" LCD monitors costing far more. Still you need a reason to pay the extra. In my case it is deskspace and room space. I still think it is the best thing about my computer which is quite high spec in other areas. B-) The only real issue I have now with my comfort levels on this computer is the noise from the fans - I hate it. Cheers Teach :-) |
