| 72109 | 2002-08-18 04:12:00 | ok further to my post on XP rebooting problem i have looked in the Error log and found the ACIP error was there approx the same time as the reboot..now this is happening underload eg game other than that my puter has not rebooted for 2 days any one tell me about this error? | TAZNZ (1526) | ||
| 72110 | 2002-08-18 05:30:00 | ACIP is the "Advisory Council for Immunisation Practices" however ACPI is the Advanced Configuration Power Interface, so I go with the latter. There are literally tens of thousands of sites with info on this, and yes it may well be the pointer you need. It could relate to an incompatability with the BIOS, or a number of things. If you go to Standby instead of shutting down it can be a problem. I suggest you go to www.google.co.nz and search on ACPI error, they are too numerous to deal with individually. |
