| 73042 | 2002-08-21 13:46:00 | its called metapad (www.liquidninja.com), its small, fast and free, and is like a new 'v2 notepad' (ive replaced the notepad exe with this program, thats how good it is to me), the full version has no size limit on txt file size, so any size file can be opened in it (well, i havent had any problems yet with files i used to have problems with), and they also have a LE version, which i dont have, so cant comment on. grtz sal. tga |

Another alternative to Notepad is Textpad which Im using an eval version of... http://www.textpad.com/ What I found good about textpad is its macros. You can record macros much like in Excel/Word except it has a repeat function which you can run through the text. cheers Parry |
