| 72653 | 2002-08-20 06:44:00 | my computer stopped working. Nothing happens except the fan is running in the power supply and on the processor. I am wondering if it is a bad power supply because I cannot even open the CD Rom. There are no beeps or any sound whatsoever. allan |

| 72654 | 2002-08-20 07:27:00 | Hmm. I would have been surprised that the fan on the processor uses 230volts. But your assumption about the CD is a valid one, however. Doesn't look good. Can you grab an old power supply and try it? Don't install fully, just power the basics - HD, CD, and see what happens. If the HD isn't spinning up, it's not sounding good. robo. |
