I installed the bare sound blaster drivers package pointed to from the news topic of pressf1. I have a sound Blaster Live Retail Version card and Desktop Theatre 2200 speakers. My question is how can you get it to output to all speakers without audioHQ, under multimedia control panel I was able to select quadrophonic to get four speakers outputting, surround just output from front right and left, there is no 5.1 option.

I know this may be a silly question, but why don't you want to install Audio HQ? |

It's not a matter of not wanting to install audioHQ, it's more a matter of not wanting to download a impressively huge file off the internet. I want the new drivers because they do not seem to cause the problems with any ethernet NIC that the old ones did (as per my last question Sound Blaster vs Ethernet NIC). |
