| 73264 | 2002-08-22 23:09:00 | Hi all. I am networking four PC's three with Win95, one with 98.. With the 98 PC I can map a network drive but in network neighborhood I don't get to see all the PC,s. Because of this I can't setup a network printer and it is also causing trouble trying to run a database application with the 98 being master. |

Make sure that they're on the same WorkGroup, that'd assist, and try assigning the Win98 Machine the IP Address: 192.168.0.1 and the get the rest to Auto Assign! Make sutre the drives are shared and not shared with a name ending in "$" because the $ Hides it unless specially mapped. I'll get back with more... Chilling_Silence |
