73264 2002-08-22 23:09:00 Hi all. I am networking four PC's three with Win95, one with 98..
With the 98 PC I can map a network drive but in network neighborhood I don't get to see all the PC,s. Because of this I can't setup a network printer and it is also causing trouble trying to run a database application with the 98 being master.

73265 2002-08-22 23:38:00 Check the FAQ, I think there's aNetworking set-up in there!
Make sure that they're on the same WorkGroup, that'd assist, and try assigning the Win98 Machine the IP Address:
192.168.0.1
and the get the rest to Auto Assign!
Make sutre the drives are shared and not shared with a name ending in "$" because the $ Hides it unless specially mapped.

I'll get back with more...

I got the network running ok. As it happens the previous owners had the PC networked and had removed all but one setting which was causing the problem
