73111 2002-08-22 05:21:00 Yep, I've been using it for about a year now & it's all good.

I am a little unsure of the latest version tho - v1.56 I think it is. When I upgraded to it my the size of utilised cache shrunk by about 80%, so I've gone back to 1.55. ?:|

how do you mean?

it sounds like its working fine. i think the earlier ver had a bug where IE's cache got huge. i havn't run the new ver much because i use opera for most things theses days.

73113 2002-08-22 07:55:00 Well .... I'm not totally sure, as I just kinda went :O, removed it and went back to the old one.

It was only as all the PC World & pressf1 graphics were reloading that I thought "That shouldn't be happening."

I have cache size set at 150Mb (huge, I know). Current size went from 150Mb (100%) to 24Mb, and shrunk to 22.5 as I was killing it, with no action in the log area.

Most strange ...... ?:|

73114 2002-08-22 09:17:00 where are you setting the cache size and where are you checking the cache size?

default setting for cachesentry is 20meg. i wouldn't go above 40meg. you need to set IE's cache setting to 150meg(or as big as you can). if you stop useing cache sentry you will need to change IE's cache back down to something resonable.
