| 73336 | 2002-08-23 04:36:00 | Okay - am having a few problems with my Palm syncing between my work and home PCs. What works on one doesn't necessarily play nice on the other. I have Win 2000 PC at home and am using Win 95 at work (good start, hey?!!). I've come to the conclusion that I need to start again with my Palm, backup all my info, then uninstall and reinstall all apps. This makes me a tad nervous and I'd love to have the help of someone who knows what they're doing or has done this before. If you can help, either leave a message here or email me at: kerry_dodds@idg.co.nz Any and all help appreciated. Cheers Kerry |

(in fact have had Palm Pilot Pro, IIIe and Vx) Backup everything and do a hard reset on the palm, it will painlessly restore the basics, but you do need to reinstall the non-rom apps as you say. From memory the address book auto-restores. I now run a pocket PC, and you think you have problems syncing?...lets not go there...(but at least I have 320Mb of RAM, not 8) |
