73713 2002-08-25 06:05:00 Eudora is for POP 3 email servers only, not for web based mail.

Sorry....

73714 2002-08-25 06:27:00 Yes, but godfather, I can download my Hotmail emails into Outlook Express instead of going to the Hotmail website and that's probably why Rob wants to know if Eudora can do it too.

Have you done it in Outlook Express at all Rob? If so, you could try the same settings, but I'm guessing that it is a feature of OE only. Maybe someone else using Eudora would know.

73716 2002-08-25 06:42:00 Hi Susan

Yes I know OE does it, but Eudora is POP 3 only, and hotmail is not a pop 3 server..

I stand to be corrected of course...

73717 2002-08-25 08:54:00 Hotmail can only be checked through a HTTP method. OE supports this there are no others as far as I'm aware.

FoxMail (Terry's fave) comes with a separate program that will allow you to check your hotmail through FoxMail maybe this program could be used in conjunction with Eudora.
