73706 2002-08-25 05:28:00 When I try to download some mail attachments, it opens about half way then stops with a message "Windows cannot open this file: to open this file, windows needs to know what program created it."
Its got the option to use web service to find appropriate program, clicking on this doesn't help, nothing happens.

73709 2002-08-26 10:32:00 I had this problem too. You can download a Powerpoint Viewer from Microsoft.com & it will allow you to view the emails.
Pauline.

73710 2002-08-26 10:34:00 Powerpoint is a component of Microsoft Office.

But as luck has it, they offer a free viewer

download it here (office.microsoft.com)
