74055 2002-08-26 10:11:00 I have a MS wireless intellimouse ( 4 weeks old ) that has ceased operation - ie, the pointer has frozen.

Is this a known problem, and how do I remedy. In the meantime, have gone back to my faithful old dinosaur corded ball mouse - which feels very strange, I must say LOL

74056 2002-08-26 10:14:00 Nothing as simple as the channel selector set accidentally to the other position? godfather (25)

hehehehehe Yes its verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry colllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllld !!!!!!

I have replaced the batteries and all seems to be back to normal. Mind you, I think I prefer the old mouse somehow. It seems to be a bit more responsive.

74060 2002-08-26 12:07:00 My advice is, get rid of it and go back to your normal mouse. I had one and found it nothing but trouble, had to change the batteries every two weeks, - works out quite expensive added up over a year. :(

Funny you should say that. My first lot of batteries lasted 3 weeks (posted enquiry here re that)

I won the Intellimouse in a MS competition. If I had paid retail ($200) would have been sp*wing
