73997 2002-08-26 08:46:00 hey

i recently installed two 32 meg sd ram chips seeing i only had 16 meg of that idol stuff. but when i start up the memory test only to 16 meg. So i took the old idol stuff out and started it up and it still only went to 16 meg.

Please help me

74002 2002-08-26 09:29:00 Goofy, if you haven't got the hint yet, you need to tell what the motherboard is, the cpu, and details of the RAM you are trying to use.:)

74004 2002-08-26 09:44:00 OK thats a start, now what about the RAM. You were referring to it as "idol" which doesnt ring any bells with me...

Are the sticks identical, is it 72 pin or 168 pin sticks?

What are they labelled?
