74762 2002-08-30 03:16:00 Are you talking to me?
I've had my picture in PC World in various forms for a loong time. I think the fact that it is in there should bother the poor people having to look at it. I would prefer the look that Wilson Wilson has in Home Improvement, and most people of taste would probably agree.

Sell yourself short why don't you. I thought the photo was lovely.
I'll stop talking now.

I haven't looked at iMag for a long time, is Robo's photo in there? I must check it out, it might be a new pic.

Robo used to grin at us from the old forum's homepage but he must have slipped something into Bruce's latte 'cos it's gone now. Shame that, I liked looking at Robo while waiting for pages to load.

As for being stalked, who would be game enough to stalk Robo? I bet he can look after himself what with all the practice he gets working with Bruce. :D

74766 2002-08-30 06:56:00 I am not sure my postie can read at all.
Actually, I reckon she only delivers every second day.

74767 2002-08-30 08:00:00 Hi robo

Actually you may be closer to the truth than you think.;\

Posties have a name for that scam, but I can't remember what it is off hand. Maybe an ex-postie can help.;)

Basically, to reduce the time taken to deliver the mail each day the postie will play odds & evens, doing only one side of their walk each day and holding over the mail for the other side to the next day. It is most likely to happen when there are heavy monthly mailings to deliver like magazines, so go figure!

Also, if working this system, a postie can finish their walk an hour or two earlier and go off to other pursuits, and no, they are not supposed to do it. The easiest check is to see if you only receive mail on alternate days.

Why do they call it a walk when they use bikes? Tradition I guess, it probably dates back to the days when posties walked. S'logical!!

Cheers
