| 74430 | 2002-08-28 06:05:00 | How can I install applications on windows XP pro so that all users (on the same computer) have the same settings. I am finding that some programs work on the administrator account but perform differently or don't work at all for other users. Do they need to be installed by each user? Same questions for printers on the network. How can I create user accounts on a peer network so that each user profile is available on any computer. Any help much appreciated |

| 74431 | 2002-08-28 06:16:00 | annoying isn't it? i got the same problem, what i usually do is I use "Run as" feature to enable other non-admin user to run the program as an admin. But that also mean that you have to give away your admin account password. there is also another way, set all user to be admin or at least users who need the application to run. anyone else got better idea? |
