| 74913 | 2002-08-29 22:49:00 | just picked up a secondhand monitor(aoc cm_333) and can only run it in 16 colors. when i try to change the colors to 256 or above i end up with multiple squashed up desktops all kind of overlaid on each other. the aoc site says that i should just run the standard 640x480 vga drivers from win98 which i have done but no diference. may be that the monitor is stuffed or old or there are better drivers out there that i can't find any ideas??????? |

| 74914 | 2002-08-29 23:25:00 | Each Screen can handle a certain refreash rate. Each colours and resolution needs a different refresh rate. if the colour depth and refresh rate is to high it will screw up what the screen looks like. :) |
