| 74768 | 2002-08-29 04:49:00 | Hi all I have two computers one running XP the other 98SE. They are connected up as a network. is it possible to make it so that when the user logs on to the 98 machine they are instead logging onto the XP machine so as they can use any and all programs installed on XP? When XP Server comes out I think I might set it up then, but in the mean time If it is possible I would like to know how so as I can do it now. Cheers :) |

To put it basically, u need either windows nt server 4.o, windows 2000 server or the upcoming xp server (that u mentioned) ,plus the terminal server....the server need to have good grunt in terms of processing speed and memory...it depends tho, on how many users will be accessing the terminal server and using its processing power to run the application in it. I hope this helps u. Jim Q. |
