| 75086 | 2002-08-30 12:09:00 | asus m\b. xp professional. Sound OK. upgraded to xp 2100 cpu. Sound still OK. flashed bios. lost all sound. d\loaded all latest drivers. will not recognise either a soundcard or the built in sound on the board. get 'data is invalid' popup. [ not the usual 'cannot install driver' ] hair falling out. ideas ? |

| 75087 | 2002-08-30 21:21:00 | Well if you saved your old BIOS before you flashed it, try flashing back to the old one and see if that makes a difference. Or try reflashing. Sounds like you might have flashed with a BIOS that wasn't quite right for your board. Was there any need to flash it? :) Mike. |
