| 74985 | 2002-08-30 05:51:00 | This is a security update file called msjavx86.exe which microsoft recommends installed to guard against malicious java browser redirects etc. I'm running IE6 on WinME and all attempts to install this file fail, followed by: "Unable to complete installation" followed by: "The installation is complete" Eeerrrrr, what? Can anyone lead me to the light with this one? Thanks :: John |

| 74986 | 2002-08-30 06:47:00 | I would just install the latest one from Sun. You can get it at: java.sun.com Its a lot newer than the MS one, and doesn't have as many security problems. |
