| 75274 | 2002-08-31 10:50:00 | It will be able to run win3 . 1, so you could play the standard windows solitaire, minesweeper etc . Most other windows programmes will need a 386 . There are also heaps of DOS games that will work, and are still great fun to play, eg skyroads, prince of persa, dangerous dave, leisure suit larry, police quest, jill of the jungle airstrike usa gorillas california games arkoniod cloud kingdoms . . . |

| 75275 | 2002-08-31 12:14:00 | I have a lot of those discs as well. I even have the 5.25' drive in my XP m/c but I cannot run them. Also have a very early Lord of the Rings which I played on my DSE XT comp. Cannot get them to work now, any Ideas Poppa John |

| 75277 | 2002-08-31 12:58:00 | Some games (eg worms) have problems running on new computers, and using XP probably doesn't help . Why not grab an old system, 486 or less . There are probably people who would pay you to take them away :-) . If the disks are dead, you can download lots of games from various abandonware sites . After 7 years all but one of my verbatim disks (360KB) worked, but only about half of the other various brands worked . |
