I was worried that he might get me a really good fishing rod and reel for next mothers' day - and then take it off me and give me his old one!! :O Actually, I just remembered that there's still a box of Roses hidden in the cupboard that he was supposed to have! Oh heck! Hmmm, what he doesn't know won't hurt him though... OK Sam, the caramel 1s r 4 u and the toffee and turkish delight 1s r 4 me. The rest of you will hafta b quik! :D |

A WHILE LATER THE MAN BEHIND THE DESK REALIZED THE ROOM WAS ONLY $25,SO HESENT THE BELLBOY TO THE 3 GUYS' ROOM WITH $5. ON THE WAY THE BELLBOY COULDN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO SPLIT $5 EVENLY BETWEEN 3 MEN, SO HE GAVE EACH MAN A $1 AND KEPT THE OTHER $2 FOR HIMSELF. THIS MEANT THAT THE 3 MEN EACH PAID $9 FOR THE ROOM, WHICH IS A TOTAL OF $27, ADD THE $2 THAT THE BELLBOY KEPT = $29. WHERE IS THE OTHER DOLLAR? |

Or, the bellboy has $2, the men $3 (=$5) and the proprietor has $25 (=$30) Its just that the bellboys money was part of the room rental initially paid. |
