| 75387 | 2002-08-31 23:55:00 | We have a 733 Computer Co. computer which has 128 PC133 SDRAM. We just bought 256 PC133 SDRAM for an upgrade. It wouldn't install on the second bank but would on the first bank (which held the old 128 ram). Then we tried installing the 128 ram on the second bank and it wouldn't load again. What are we doing wrong, why can't we install ram into the second bank to have a total of 384 ram? thanks for any help. | nzwalkabout (299) | ||

| 75389 | 2002-09-01 00:05:00 | I found it was easier to get one end in first - then other. Found out the hard way, that ram does not mean "ram them in". Had to replace my M/B. Bye |

| 75391 | 2002-09-01 01:08:00 | Thanks everyone, we managed to get it working after awhile. I had a look in the BIOS and saw that both Bank 0/1 and 2/3 DRAM timing are set on SDRAM 10ns, is this the correct setting for the ram? ta. | nzwalkabout (299) | ||
