1310777 2012-11-08 08:05:00 Yup had this problem so many times in the workshop, with Telecom & Vodafone sticks, their software/drivers truly are crap!
Only way we've ever been able to fix it is a reinstall of the operating system.

Thanks, appreciated. What you say is what I have learnt from various searches (in which you appeared :D). You can understand I'm not happy about throwing this t-stick away and then spending $200 on a 3G modem. I could cope if the darned cellphone would act as a modem but it doesn't anymore.

Thanks guys for your help. Maybe this is just one of those inexplicable things we just have to grit our teeth over. I've waited 6 months before posting in the hope a solution would appear.

You can pick up a 3G router for under $100.

1310779 2012-11-08 22:45:00 +1 - that's the most painless thing to do in this situation. Just checked and your MF190 is on the compatible models list for that particular router too. :) wratterus (105)
1310780 2012-11-11 10:37:00 Appreciated team. Can a cellphone be plugged into that wireless router to be used as the modem? Winston001 (3612)
1310781 2012-11-11 20:06:00 Nope - just USB mobile cards. The compatibility list is here (www.tp-link.com). wratterus (105)

Guess that rules out my two T-Sticks then..
