1310714 2012-11-06 20:49:00 I can't see any reference to running chkdsk. That would be one of my first actions in spite of the 'Healthy' reports in Belarc. linw (53)
1310715 2012-11-06 20:51:00 I had a start-up problem like that. Turned out to be memory. I ran bootdisc Memtest86 (or whatever it's called) and could see the errors get less as the machine warmed up. Then confirmed the diagnosis by replacing the memory and getting no more problems BBCmicro (15761)

I ran that the other day - maybe a week ago now that I think of it. Although it took what seemed to be forever, nothing changed of which I could tell.

Let me research a link for that - but doesn't it require a floppy slot that's actually working ? If so - maybe there's a USB Stick version. ? ?

They have versions for Floppy, CD and USB. Download which one you prefer here:

1310718 2012-11-06 21:15:00 Looks ok to me, but both versions of flash and java are out of date. So is ccleaner. So is hijackthis, and chrome now. 23.x is out now. Flash is now up to 11.5. And Java 1.6. update 37. Or 7 update 9.

Is teatimer enabled in Spybot?? If it is disable it. What about the entries in startup??
