| 75847 | 2002-09-02 10:59:00 | I have just downloaded the 40.1 drivers, and they work fine. However, om a related issue, whenever i have a large whit are on my screen (eg PressF1 page) the image on the screen increases in size vertically. i.e. if I open pressf1, and the minimise it, the image shortens by about 5mm, and when maximised, it expands again. Slowly increasing the window size by hand has the same effect, but it is less noticeable as it happens more gradually. Dark colours do not have the same effect. This has happened ever since I moved to XP with all driver versions. I have a 17inch CRT monitor, and a Geforce 2 MX400 card. Any ideas? G P |

A lower EHT allows the picture to 'bloom' (it is pulled wider / higher by the deflection electrodes). Some monitors develop this effect as they age, others (cheaper models) exhibit the effect from new. | wuppo (41) | ||
