| 75667 | 2002-09-02 05:29:00 | I have purchased a Laptop to replace a damaged one running Win 98. of which I have the original restore disc and certificate of Authenticity. The laptop came with 98 pre -installed. The replacement laptop has win98 se but purchased without cds. and is of the same make and model. I believe that at sometime Win 98 has been replaced with the se version. What I would like to know is if my restore discs could be used if I ever needed to reinstall win 98se. would I have to format the drive and instal from my disc or are they useless in my case. Any suggestions please or information.? | John Boy (1365) | ||
