| 75578 | 2002-09-01 22:08:00 | To put the links onto the forum just click on the words Formatting Options which are just above the box where you type your replies. To do it in Email there are 2 ways,these instructions are for Outlook. The first is the most simple and that is to type the full address including the http:// piece at the beginning, in your email ( this also works in here too ) The second looks a lot neater, first type the words you want to appear as a link i.e. Bob's Site Now highlight these words and then click on the word insert at the top of your "message" box, select hyperlink and when the box opens up enter the address in full. Click on the ok and you have a fully working hyperlink in your email. |

If its text, normal copy and paste applies, but formatting will be lost. The only formatting available is as per the pop-up box referred to above. If its not in there - sorry! |

| 75582 | 2002-09-02 04:20:00 | While on the subject of formatting, I've noticed you use a comma a lot in place of the apostrophe. It reduces the readability of your posts, the correct apostrophe is the key beside the "Enter" key, without using shift. The difference is: I,ve and I've. |

Where is your's and scrool down too bruce buckhams post's and he has inserted 2 pictures in his post's. This is what i would like to learn how to do . i realise i can't do it here but want to do it with email.. i already know how to attach a picture to a email .. ?:I :) this look's a lot tidier way of sending pictures thanks | johnboy (217) | ||

If you have your own website you can do that too . :-) But for inserting pictures in your emails there was another post explaining how to do that the other day - wasn't that you who asked? I have to go now but will try and find the thread later tonight, unless you find it first . |
