| 76051 | 2002-09-03 06:23:00 | First, enter the BIOS setup and look at the disks section. Make sure that the IDE interface it is connected to is enabled. If it is, the BIOS should recognise it. If it doesn't, make sure that all cables to the drive are plugged in fully. |

| 76052 | 2002-09-04 00:01:00 | OK if you have no lights at all its possible that their is no power going to it, hence why it won't open If you have a light but it's staying on continuously then either the cable connected to the cdrom is around the wrong way, or your cdrom drive is conflicting with on of your harddrives, usually because of the cable being around the wrong way also. And it could also be as said above, have a look in the bios and make sure everything is been detected ok, and that secondary IDE is enabled etc. |
