| 76001 | 2002-09-03 03:29:00 | I was foolish enough to fall for the apparently well known Java hoax. Having deleted the file jdbgmgr.exe I would greatly appreciate it if someone could tell me how to restore it. I run windows XP home |

| 76002 | 2002-09-03 03:42:00 | I made a site, All about it: www.geocities.com maybe it's .htm, but I think that's right. It's not really ALL about it, but it tells you howto get it back. That was a Javascript Debugger or something along those lines I believe.. Live and Learn Chilling_Silence |

| 76003 | 2002-09-03 03:45:00 | It gets a bit complicated as the reinstall instructions all point to sites where the java file has been removed. Basically if you don't do development work on Java applications, don't worry, and use the XP service pack 1 (due for release this month) to fix it. |

| 76006 | 2002-09-05 04:23:00 | Okay, Well, It's al very well and good me standing here, preaching about don't delete it, but the thing was, I hadn't even notified the rest of my family, and, go figure, My mother received it from her brother, and deleted it. So it was off to the website that I had made, saying against that sort of thing, and yet, it's been done on the family PC!! Oh, well, Live and Learn :-) Chilling_Silence |
