| 76221 | 2002-09-03 20:31:00 | It would be good If I could keep the icons that first appear when you first add a site to your favorites. For the sake of being able to reconise them at a glance. But after a few days they just turn into the I.E icon. | Ron Bakker (356) | ||
| 76222 | 2002-09-03 20:46:00 | Ron they disappear when you clear your temp internet files, the small icon is cached in with the temp internet files and when you clear them it disappears. You then have to visit the site again for it to reappear and possibly even add it to you favorites again. Regards Sam |

| 76225 | 2002-09-04 08:45:00 | Before you clear temp internet files, go the folder or search it for *.ico files. Save any you want to keep to a permanent folder, rename them -anything, and then link your shortcut to the new icon as follows:- R-click on the favorites icon you wish to change, open Properties / Change Icon, and browse to your new icons folder. Double click the selected icon and close with OK. brig |
