| 76325 | 2002-09-04 04:39:00 | A couple of day ago's I asked about getting rid of a program that has taken over everything on a friends computer. I was asked for its name to help with the problem, so here goes It's Gill of the Jungle, a mega game by Epic. When the computer is booted the only thing available is the game. How is it possible to get rid of this etc, running on Windows 98. Thanks Rosie |

I can't remember the line to take out but if you were to post the contents of the file to here it would jog my memory, or some-one elses if they get here quicker. |

He's likely set it to run in DOS mode using a program shortcut and changed the setting for it a little too much, Been there done that! I did a re-format, but you could prolly just edit the autoexec.bat Technically the Autoexec.bat file should be blank, myn is, and config.sys which it may have modified too! Just remove any reference to Jill.exe (Whole Line) See what that does! Chilling_Silence |

When I did that I had a DOS Program that had to be run from DOS mode had to restart in DOS ,but the program crashed and would not release DOS. |
