When ever I go to do anything it say the following Sorry You Can't Continue Something is missing to locate the missing piece, close all open programs, restart your computer, and then run microsoft greetings setup again |

| 76273 | 2002-09-04 07:01:00 | Greetings99 does not work on XP. I tried the compatibility wizard. Microsoft has an article somewhere on their site saying its not compatible. I had to make the PC dual boot so the Mrs could keep using it. I have seen new versions of it for $60 or $70 in the shops. | wotz (335) | ||
| 76274 | 2002-09-04 08:24:00 | Yes I found an article that said to try to use compatibility wizard. It didn't work so I have resigned myself to the fact that I need to upgrade. I have seen a newer version for between $40 and $50 so will go get it. Thanks all for your help any way. :) |

Right-click a catgory (any one will do) . Click Recover . Click Compact . Quit Clip Gallery . Then try running Greetings 99 . Tell me if it doesnt work . it worked for me . | 76279 | 2002-09-05 05:30:00 | Bad news I haven't been able to get it to work I have tried do as stated . I have tried compacting and then running greetings while clip gallery is running . Ihave tried reinstalling again I have tried the clip gallery thing and then restarted . Nothing . I am getting further than I did before though . The error message doesn't come up and I can select some other things, BUT once I have selected the main selection EG Greeting Cards; Friendship; General; Serious; There is nothing in the Pick Design area so I can't go on . It is like this in every area . :( Looks like I may have to upgrade after all unless you know something else I should do ?? Cheers |
