2002-09-06 00:34:00 | Xbox is Microsoft. Don't go there we have enough of that bug fill error causing stuff already. Stick with playstation. You could always wait for a PS3. due out in 2005 I think with 1000 times the power it has at the moment :)

2002-09-06 01:16:00 | Xbox ROCKS !!! :) :) :) :) :) :) Makes PS look like a Master System -- well, maybe not quite, but I can't understand how people can sit and wait 5 mins or so while their game saves. :p

Any word on price of the consol and and am I correct in assuming that it will be compatible with any PC CDRom game? I think that once people see them in action, the features and what you can do with them, Sony etc will not even get a look in. Most interesting days ahead. BALDY:-) Perhaps you could list the features for those unaware of how good it is |

2002-09-06 01:38:00 | The winner is Mr Scott Bartley. Word is he needs a break after his Xbox RalliSport drubbing at the hands of PC World's Editor, whom I'm not necessarily related to. | Big Ed (1774) | |
2002-09-06 01:44:00 | Baldy.....RRP for the Xbox is $499 on sale Oct 3. Games should retail for between $89 -$129. And the Xbox will not play PC games...sadly. Big Ed.....you do talk some rubbish sometimes....

2002-09-06 01:50:00 | Xbox: reportedly $499, but Electronics Boutique are advertising a "trade-in 8 PS2 games and get Xbox for $399. Release date: 3 Oct Most EB and Central Park stores have machines you can have a play on now. From www.xbox.co.nz (http://www.xbox.co.nz) Four game controller ports that allow easy multiplayer gaming and enable other peripherals, ranging from game pads to voice-activated headsets A front-loading DVD tray (add-on purchase required for DVD movie playing) A multisignal audio-video connector that allows for easy hookup to televisions and home theater systems An Ethernet port for rich, fast-action online gaming via a broadband connection Central processing unit custom designed by NVIDIA (graphics, similar I think to GeForce 3 -- someone correct me if I'm wrong) Central processing unit custom designed by Intel (cpu, 733 Mhz?) | 76794 | 2002-09-06 01:53:00 | Yikes..... a bit cheaper than I initially was told. Oh well, might go with the XBox and a HP (Its only money) Wonder if Sony will drop the PS2 price a little as a sweetner to try and snare extra customers. There's always a price war over these things BALDY:-)
