| 76615 | 2002-09-05 06:33:00 | Have a browse in the Linux Documentation (dunedin.lug.net.nz). In the Guides section have a good read of the "Getting Started" one, towards the end. It's a bit dated, but it is a very good introduction to the OS. Also, to your specific question: this HOWTO (dunedin.lug.net.nz) is worth a look. If you have a CD set for Linux, the documentation files can be read from within Windows systems. |
