76523 2002-09-05 03:50:00 Thanks Jim,

The article didn't help though, it told me where an OPEN ATTACHMENT is located, I just want to know how to change the folder that they are stored in when they first arrive at my pc.

Thanks

76524 2002-09-05 04:07:00 You can of course save the attachment to any location you want.

Is this what you are trying to do.

Create a new folder in Windows Explorer where you want OE to store your files. Open OE and click Tools| Options| Maintenance| Store folder, then click the Change button. Browse to the new folder and click OK. Close the dialogue, then close OE. When you re-open OE, it will automatically move the store to its new location.

76525 2002-09-05 09:16:00 Sorry Jim

It's still not helping. I am NOT using OE (Outlook Express) I am using Outlook 2002. Therefore the actions you described don't work. If only it were that simple.........

Thanks

76527 2002-09-05 11:51:00 Try going Tools > Options, Mail Setup tab; click on Data Files, and then create a new outlook file wherever you want it stored, or find the current one and move it to the new place, then set in here to point at the new location.

HTH

Mike.
