Its not that hard to work out who are in the top ten as it is now - but I didn't think that was what this forum was all about. Some people post heaps, others hardly ever. We DON"T need a compitition based on count. Even if i thought it was a good idea, and was easy to do, ( has anyone thought about the extra work that would create) i think there is little enough space on this screen as it is. Some of us have 15" screens ya know! You don't have to be here long to work out who are the "power posters", and who is knowledgable on what areas. I think thats enough. I would hate to see someone afraid of posting because they are not as good as xxxxxxxxxxx....... |

| 77193 | 2002-09-07 01:54:00 | Rather than that, something that would be interesting is how many registered users and how many guests are currently on the site, I've seen that sort of monitor at other sites (www.vipersroms.cjb.net has one I think, might be free, so the web-dev guys might be able to whip one up!??!) | 77194 | 2002-09-07 03:02:00 | I don't know about a list at the top of the page but definitely a grey button next to the FAQS leading to say a page with statistics on it, Top ten posters, hot topics etc... But then again you have to stop and ask yourself is it really necessary? If it was up to me then I would probably scrap the idea, adding to much un-necessary things to a board takes away the point of the board which is to help people. IMHO I wouldn't want one.
