77133 2002-09-06 21:39:00 Hey

I was faced with the similar problem. As NPF saves its rules lists and other stuff in the registry What i did was I exported the entire registry, opened it in Wordpad and searched for the stuff I wanted to save, and then I went back to the registry and backed up the stuff I wanted to keep. The registry locations are:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>SOFTWARE>Symantec

and all the files for NPF are saved there, including programs allowed to access the internet and internet rules, IP's allowed to access your computer etc

So just browse to these paths and click File > Export Registry File and where it says Export Range keep it on "selected branch" and save it to some removable media
