I have recently built a PC. Everything seems to work fine but the problem is my cpu is not running at its full potential. It is a AMD Athlon 2000XP and it is currently running at around 1.2GHz on a Gigabyte GA-7VRXP motherboard with all the jumper settings at default. How do I get my cpu to run at the normal 1.6GHz? |

change the front side bus from 100 to 133. default for most boards is 100. look for a jumber or refer to your manual. |

Can I do it through the bios or do it physically on the motherboard? |
