77054 2002-09-06 11:57:00 Do you have the CD that came with that modem from Telecom? With that you shouldn't have to change any settings to get it going.

77056 2002-09-06 12:54:00 I'll have a look at my CD and let you know tomorrow if I can find anything.Normally it should load itsef correctly from the CD with no problems.what OS are you running?

77057 2002-09-06 14:22:00 i am running windows xp
am going to ring efficient in texas in at 2am see if they have any solutions
the file refering to driver for rfc1483 is called efnt1483.sys so i thought by doing a search for a file called efnt2364.sys on the net might work but no such file
do you own the same modem as me?

77058 2002-09-06 21:44:00 Hi Greg,I actually fix adsl faults for Telecom,so I have had a few dealings with these modems.Firat off you should go and have a look at this site
www.nzdsl.co.nz as it has heaps of info on all sorts of dsl problems and lots of info on other things as well.Because you are running XP,there are no proper drivers for this,as Telecom stopped supporting these modems a couple of years ago,so the only drivers out are beta drivers. If you go to the dsl site above, you will find them in the software section.Have a go with those and let me know how you get on.All the best.

77059 2002-09-06 21:46:00 One thing I forgot to mention.Uninstall the modem, and then run "enclean.exe" off the CD to clean out the registry settings then do a full install again using the new drivers.
