| 77033 | 2002-09-06 07:30:00 | Hi folks, Since having my OS upgraded to windows xp, I have been unable to enable the NIS section. The anti virus section is fine. Supervisor log on is requested each time I try to enable NIS, or change any options. I chose originally not to install the parental control section,so supervisor status is not available. I can't even uninstall and reinstall for the same reason. I have checked the manual and Symantec web site. The XP firewall has been disabled.(the setup ran fine in ME). any ideas? Paddy |
