77064 2002-09-06 11:40:00 (1) ... Is Panda Pro as good as 'They' say it is?
(2) ... can I buy Roxio 'Go Back' as a 'Stand alone' or ...
(3) ... should I buy 'System Works' & forget about 'Panda' ?
Please folks, these questions have been bugging me for a while now! ... I'm running the free version of Panda, but need the upgrades/updates to feel safer ... I think!
Thank you all for a really great "New Zealand " service.

77065 2002-09-06 12:03:00 well i tried panda and it crashed on install. thats as far as i got....it went straight to the bin.

i'm a bit of a fan of norton system works. just check the different ver eg standard, pro etc. goback is bundled with 2002.

however there are others which are just as good.

77066 2002-09-06 23:18:00 This may be a bit old now, but about a year ago I read a big review of all the AV software on the market (ran into the thousands), and Panda AV Platinum (I think it was platinum) came up number one AV on the market, having not let a single virus through, Norton AV came up second having not picked up a new unknown virus through the heuristics (and that being a very minor virus). So I'd say it probably is pretty good.

77067 2002-09-07 01:48:00 Nod32 has recieved best reviews everywhere I've seen on the web, it's aussy based, but it does the trick! Chilling_Silence (9)
77068 2002-09-07 08:44:00 NOD32 is really good.

I use AVG it's completely free and has worked well so far. Not that I've had a virus (yet?) I'm too sensible to go running viruses.
