| 77570 | 2002-09-08 04:20:00 | Is there any way to get AVI file thumbnails in Explorer the same way I get JPG and BMP ones? I see Windows XP shows these thumbnails. Is there a fix or change I can make to get Windows Me to do the same? | adrian.jurke (1813) | ||

| 77572 | 2002-09-08 06:17:00 | Hi Adrian, you probably could do it, but you would need to know the HTML code that XP uses plus there might be java scripts as well and who knows what registry settings. When you view as a web page, there is HTML which is showing you these thumbnails and is calling a function to do so. My HTML knowledge is zip so I couldnt interpret this to tell you what, if anything, you could do. I could see it may not be an easy task so unless you are prepared to go to a lot of trouble so personally I wouldnt pursue this. Perhaps do a search on Google may bring up something for you.
