77284 2002-09-07 05:31:00 I wen tinto Disk Management and tried to mound dev/cdrom in directory /mnt/cdrom in the iso9660 filesystem and i get the error :
mount: /dev/cdrom is not a valid block device
What's that mean?

77285 2002-09-07 05:53:00 Just a thought. Have you got a disk in the drive or is it empty? You can only mount a valid disk. Gorela (901)
77286 2002-09-07 05:54:00 i was just having a play.... I can't browse audio cd's from nautilis as you would in windows explorer, but if you go into xmms and go add>dir> select cdrom then all works fine.

might try sticking a data cd in the drive to see if it's mounting or not?
i can't connect to internet from linux. grrrrr. damn rebooting. :D
