| 77820 | 2002-09-08 22:49:00 | On opening a DOCument it appears in a strange STYLE - wide margins, Times font, many extra lines of code, usually repeated, (probably document information). If I INSERT this doc into a new page, the proper formatting appears. After saving, the same happens again. Similar beviour to opening a picture instead of inserting it. Thank you in advance KRC |

| 77821 | 2002-09-08 23:41:00 | It sounds like a bad "normal.dot" file is causing this. Find it (should be with templates) and re-name it to something like normal.old (Word will re-create it next time it starts) You could delete the normal.dot, if you normally use Word default settings, I suggest renaming only if the problem is something else and you want your personalised template back. |
