| 77696 | 2002-09-08 10:46:00 | I have a DOS cashbook App which I had no trouble printing from when set up in a Win 98SE platform. HAve now changed to new computer with WinXP Home . DOS App runs fine in the window, and same printer (Canon SP400)works fine from WinXP on either USB or LPTI , but just cant seem to get the DOS App to print. What am I doing wrong? | chrysalis (1818) | ||

It has to work with the parallel port as Dos does not support USB. It uses a Generic driver and only prints one font but is fine for data reports. I used to own a Cannon printer & seem to remember that there were some dip switches for manual setting of the printer - have a look :-) |
