| 77632 | 2002-09-08 22:47:00 | I've seen so much junk sold privately without the seller knowing whats what, that I would say steer clear of anywhere like Trade Me or T&E UNLESS you know what you are doing and can thoroughly check things out BEFORE you buy. Same goes for auctions, you must be able to test and check, and if needs be take the case off, never buy blindly, despite what sales line may be thrown at you, or what the specs are said to be. Many private sellers dont know the difference between a Pentium and a 486, not exagerating :( In Upper Hutt at least you wouldnt go far wrong at VBS: http://www.vbs.co.nz/ |
