77573 2002-09-08 04:28:00 Arrrrrghhhhhh

Smal wee boxes with white crosses in them!!!! Why? I searched the internet to no avail and have checked the show pictures box in advanced in the internet options bit.

Any help? Win 98 by the way...And it has been running fine until now.

Cheers

77574 2002-09-08 04:32:00 On all sites or just some?

Some sites have incorrect linkage in the HTML and no settings your end will fix that, its a programming error at the other end.

If on the other hand its on all sites, your PC still pines for Dunedin...

77577 2002-09-08 04:39:00 maybe it's an ODT virus, designed to make you use no other sites ... :D Graham L (2)
77578 2002-09-08 04:50:00 Don't like stating the obvious, but have you done all the "usual" things: ie. clearing your internet cache, etc.? antmannz (28)

77580 2002-09-08 05:01:00 When this happens to me usually I just refresh and it comes up good.

When this happens hold down ctrl and press f5 this will refresh the page, downloading a new one from the server as opposed to just refreshing the page from the cache.

Hope This helps

77581 2002-09-08 05:09:00 what browser do you use? and how good is your internet connection?

i've had a few problems with IE not displaying pics due to poor net connection. IE stops trying to load the pics if they are to slow to download. i noticed it mostly with IE6.

77582 2002-09-08 05:15:00 See what happens when you leave Dunedin......everything turns to mush. Try wearing a kilt. That might trick it LOL Baldy (26)
