77743 2002-09-09 08:10:00 I got sick of Norton interfering and having to reinstall after using sytems restore. Am now using EZ 6.O and Zone Alarms Pro. Got 3 Trojans last week from a Diablo 2 hack my son downloaded. Am thinking of reinstalling Norton 2002. Bill P (1660)

77745 2002-09-09 08:14:00 the free zonealarm and norton AV 2002 on my win98 partition.

Just removed norton from my 98lite partition coz i pulled IE out and norton requires it, so I got rid of that too. Need to find a free AV to install.

Any suggestions? I don't want one that runs all the time, coz that partition is just for games (don't want to sacrifice frame rate), but one that I can just manually run periodically.

77746 2002-09-09 08:40:00 ZoneAlarm and AVG

Loser, I find AVG (http://www grisoft.com), which is free, to be excellent and use far less resources than either McAfee or Norton, both of which I've used previously.
